After analysing customer feedback, we have managed to make a lot of improvements to task manager professional over the last couple of months – in fact we have performed 5 update releases in the last 2 months.
We have also moved the app into the Business section of the Microsoft App Store, which has allowed us to become more visible to the business community.

We’ve been analysing the comments from users of Task Manager Professional, and one issue that came up often is the lack of help available for the app.
We have a lot of plans to provide a variety of tutorial content for this app, but until that content is ready, we thought we’d record a simple un-scripted walk thought of the app, which will hopefully give our users a better idea of how this app can be used.
Pease provide any feedback or comments that you can to me – Dean – at email@example.com
After much market analysis, and reviewing our strengths as an app development company, we at Pinchscape Ltd have decided to work exclusively on Microsoft OS App Development:
- Windows 7/8 (WPF Apps)
- Windows 8 (Windows Store Apps)
- Windows Phone 8 apps.
We will be tweaking our branding over the next few days, and re-aligning our development strategy to take full advantage of Microsoft tools and technologies – including Team Foundation Server, Windows Azure Cloud Services and other enterprise-strength Microsoft oriented products and services.
As well as developing our own stable of feature-rich / connected productivity apps for all Microsoft platforms, we will be taking on 3rd party development projects in the near future.

We recently acquired a top Windows Store app called ‘Task Manager Professional’ from defunct publisher Yellow Spot Apps.
Task Manager Professional is an enterprise-grade task management app for Windows 8, which has been in the Windows App Store since February 2013.
Task Manager Professional has to-date been downloaded over 40,000 times, and has a very large number of great reviews worldwide.
We have great plans for this app in 2013 and beyond, including a slew of new features, as well as a Windows Phone 8 version (which will be ready for alpha testing within 3-4 weeks)
We have just released an update (still under the existing publisher name) where the price of our in-app extras package is slashed to £0.99 (was £4.49) – which will hopefully encourage more users to upgrade. This price reduction will only be available until the first of november when our next big update will be available.
We’ve also increased the useability of the free app for those customers who are reluctant to upgrade.
You can download ‘Task Manager Professional’ from the Windows App Store here:
Pinchscape has just begun development of a new lightweight daily task management app called ’4Today’.
Based on simple principles of daily tasks and their organisation, 4Today will (when completed) offer a very high-quality and simple app experience.
4Today is being created for the following phone platforms:
- IPhone (IOS7)
- Android Phone (ICS and later)
- Windows Phone 8
We anticipate having versions ready for beta release within 6-8 weeks, with an initial release to app stores within 4 weeks of testing.
The app will be a free app with in-app advertising. Users will be able to upgrade to the ad-free version for a small in-app purchase (bottom pricing tier)
If anyone would like to help us beta-test this app, please email me at email@example.com

Great GTD Productivity app for Windows 8
We are pleased to announce that we have completed a deal with defunct app development company Yellow Spot Apps Ltd for their Windows Store product ‘Task Manager Professional’.
The app has become a firm favourite in the Microsoft Windows 8 App Store, and had reached a top 50 position worldwide in the productivity app category.
However, although the app is a rock-solid and still going strong with continually large numbers of daily downloads, the app hasn’t had an update for many months, and needs a little ‘TLC’.
We plan to fold this app’s technology into our new ‘Task Centric’ app, and offer all existing’ Task Manager Professional’ users who had upgraded to the premium features – a free upgrade to ‘Task Centric’ when available. In addition there will be a fully featured import feature into Task Centric from the Task Manager Professional database.
I am currently building the cloud layer for my new Productivity / GTD app called ‘Task Centric’.
The cloud service will be deployed to Windows Azure as a Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) service, on the Azure PaaS App-fabric platform. The WCF will communicate with the mobile app via JSON, which is well supported across all mobile app technologies.
The beauty of this scenario, is that Pinchscape Ltd could offer custom deployments of the Task Centric cloud service to companies that want a private and secure solution for their employees.
Therefore, we’ve decided to support connections to multiple Task Centric services (if required by the user), thus additionally enabling collaboration between employees from different organisations as well as users having the option of access to company and private services for our app.
